	<p style="text-align: left;">With all the buzz surrounding Britain's newest little prince, we couldn't resist joining in. We asked ourselves what we would design if the Duchess asked us to create a royal baby announcement for her new little prince (we can dream big too, right?)</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://blog.cherishpaperie.com/royal-baby-announcement/img_5957-logo/" rel="attachment wp-att-1533"><img class="aligncenter  wp-image-1533" alt="Royal Baby Announcement © 2013 Custom Programs, LLC dba Cherish Paperie" src="http://blog.cherishpaperie.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/IMG_5957-logo.jpg" width="576" height="482" /></a></p>

<h2>A Royal Baby Announcement</h2>
We chose to go with a very elegant announcement, using <a href="http://cherishpaperie.com/colors/all-paper">high-end papers</a> and techniques but keeping the design simple and clean. We drew inspiration from the royal family's age-old tradition of placing a <a href="http://thestir.cafemom.com/baby/157229/kate_middletons_birth_announcement_is" target="_blank">golden-framed announcement on a wooden easel</a> within the palace gates to announce the birth to the public. The official announcement is very clean and simple, surrounded by the ornate golden frame, so we worked those elements into our design!

The result was a lovely, yet simple announcement printed on cottony white paper with a royal blue ribbon accent.
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://blog.cherishpaperie.com/royal-baby-announcement/img_5953-with-logo/" rel="attachment wp-att-1545"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-1545" alt="Royal Baby Announcement detail © 2013 Custom Programs, LLC dba Cherish Paperie" src="http://blog.cherishpaperie.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/IMG_5953-with-logo.jpg" width="720" height="496" /></a> <a href="http://blog.cherishpaperie.com/royal-baby-announcement/img_5963-withlogo/" rel="attachment wp-att-1542"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-1542" alt="Royal Baby Announcement bow © 2013 Custom Programs, LLC dba Cherish Paperie" src="http://blog.cherishpaperie.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/IMG_5963-withlogo.jpg" width="557" height="394" /></a></p>
The bracket-style die cut gives it an ornate flair, and the ridged antique gold envelope liner, seal, and and backing make this announcement fit for a prince!
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://blog.cherishpaperie.com/royal-baby-announcement/img_5970-withlogo/" rel="attachment wp-att-1543"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-1543" alt="Royal Baby Announcement design © 2013 Custom Programs, LLC dba Cherish Paperie" src="http://blog.cherishpaperie.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/IMG_5970-withlogo.jpg" width="600" height="400" /></a></p>
Finally, we used an off-white envelope with a slight shimmer and a ridged pattern, for one last touch of elegance.
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://blog.cherishpaperie.com/royal-baby-announcement/img_5971-withlogo/" rel="attachment wp-att-1541"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-1541" alt="Royal Baby Announcement textured paper © 2013 Custom Programs, LLC dba Cherish Paperie" src="http://blog.cherishpaperie.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/IMG_5971-withlogo.jpg" width="600" height="400" /></a></p>
&nbsp;

We loved using some of our high-end, specialty and textured papers.
