Vintage Grey and Yellow Wedding Shower {Featured on Wedding Chicks}

We can hardly believe it's been almost a year since Barbara's Vintage Grey and Yellow Wedding Shower but time has flown by! And we're excited to announce that her shower has been featured on Wedding Chicks. From the gorgeous succulents and floral centerpieces created by Krista Jon to the amazing details brought to life with Archive Vintage Rentals, this shower was absolutely amazing. And all of this amazing work was beautifully captured by Zoom Theory Photography. As soon as we walked into the backyard, we were taken away by the beauty of all of the little details that went into this wedding shower. While there was a lot going on and much for the eye to see, it wasn't too busy or overwhelming. Preppy Chic Events did an amazing job styling the shower and putting everything together perfectly. A gorgeous black vintage desk was used as the cake table. The napkins were tucked away in a drawer to keep from blowing away. Along with vintage touches - including a typewriter - the cake table displayed a yellow and gray macaroon tower and beautiful yellow ombré cake created by Sweet and Saucy Shop. And yes, it was as delicious as it looks! Congrats, again, Barbara! We couldn't be happier for you and are so excited and blessed to have shared this past year of celebrations with you. Christia’s Cooking Shower {Featured in The Knot SoCal}

As a newlywed I found my passion in the kitchen by trying out new recipes and ideas given to me at my bridal shower. The love and kind words my friends and family wrote down along side their family recipes inspired me to continue cooking for my husband, and now family, even after botching a few dishes.

So when we were asked to design the stationery for Christia's Cooking Shower I was more than excited to see what our design team came up with. And, of course, to see the final result!

The idea of a Cooking Shower to celebrate a bride-to-be is such an awesome idea! And there are so many creative ways you can go about decorating.

How cute are those individual cupcakes in jars by Cupcakes Couture of Manhattan Beach?

The color scheme of the whole party had a vintage and classic touch to it. Being able to play with different food elements in the stationery made everything come together so nicely.

And as always, guests were asked to leave advice for the bride-to-be. A recipe box for a Cooking Shower is the perfect way to collect these words of wisdom.

Yellow and Gray Vintage Chic {Bridal Shower Preview}

This weekend we had the honor of attending a very special bridal shower for Adrienne's sister, Barbara. The venue, the decor, and the food were just perfect! Be Inspired PR created a vintage chic feel with gorgeous antique furniture from Archive Vintage Rentals and amazing flowers from Krista Jon. The Mexican food was amazing and this margarita bar paired perfectly with the tacos and flautas. Chips, salsa, and guacamole tasted even better with glasses of strawberry or golden margaritas. Next to the bar was a vintage tub filled with non-alcoholic drinks. The antique books and other decorations were spread out everywhere! Each place setting was beautifully adorned with gorgeous dishes, a fabulous personalized menu, and vintage goblets to enjoy our margaritas. The additional touch of a lacy cloth napkin perfected each setting. The drinks were adorned with conversational paper straws by Cherish Paperie. Everywhere we turned, more vintage touches were placed about the party. This gorgeous desk was adorned with a customized name banner created by Cherish Paperie in frames purchased at Ikea. These frames could be found throughout the party with different tidbits and facts about the beautiful bride. This gorgeous yellow ombre ruffle cake was the perfect dessert to enjoy as we watched the bride open her gifts. The cake was pared with fresh french macaroons that were both light and delicious. We cannot wait to see the photos from Zoom Theory!
