Should I DIY? Nowadays, so many guys and gals decide they want to DIY everything. Broken sink? DIY. Paint a room? DIY. Wedding Stationery? Definitely cheaper to DIY...right? Many assume that choosing to DIY a project it it will save them some cash in the process. But before you run to Michaels and buy armfuls of paper, hole-punchers and scissors, make sure you know what you're getting into! In some cases, DIY may be a great option for your wedding stationery in decor. But in many cases you'll be wishing you asked yourself "Should I DIY?"

How gorgeous is this vintage country chic wedding stationery? As soon as we heard the vision behind this stationery we knew that the wedding would be spectacular. Not only did we love the rustic, vintage feel of the stationery, we enjoyed using different textural elements in the final product. We always get giddy and excited to see our stationery featured at the weddings and events we create them for. It's even more exciting to see the gorgeous photos afterwards displayed on blogs we love. The country chic wedding stationery that we shared in our Invitations Facebook album can be seen on Oh Lovely Day today along with the rest of the amazing details of this couple's special day. This vintage country chic wedding took our breath away! The lace, the pearls, the flowers! Each and every touch was personalized. It is such an honor to see our designs at this wedding reception and we love how beautiful this wedding turned out. Many thanks to those who worked hard in creating this special day!

After just receiving this gorgeous invitation in the mail, I had to share with everyone! A few weeks ago we shared sneak peek photos of a gorgeous vintage chic bridal shower and today we are sharing the same bride's gorgeous wedding invitation stationery. From the classic black and white colors to the gorgeous fonts and elegant swoops and swirls, this invitation is every little girl's dream! With every single detail in place, even the simplest of designs can create a gorgeous appearance. We were happy to notice that our place cards were featured on the Every Last Detail Blog at the Glamorous Purple and White Wedding at the Vizcaya in Miami. The event was absolutely stunning. With bold bursts of purple and gold, this wedding was every bit as glamorous as it looked. We loved the gorgeous floral arrangements and table settings. And the dessert bar looked amazing. Yellow and Gray Vintage Chic {Bridal Shower Preview}

This weekend we had the honor of attending a very special bridal shower for Adrienne's sister, Barbara. The venue, the decor, and the food were just perfect! Be Inspired PR created a vintage chic feel with gorgeous antique furniture from Archive Vintage Rentals and amazing flowers from Krista Jon. The Mexican food was amazing and this margarita bar paired perfectly with the tacos and flautas. Chips, salsa, and guacamole tasted even better with glasses of strawberry or golden margaritas. Next to the bar was a vintage tub filled with non-alcoholic drinks. The antique books and other decorations were spread out everywhere! Each place setting was beautifully adorned with gorgeous dishes, a fabulous personalized menu, and vintage goblets to enjoy our margaritas. The additional touch of a lacy cloth napkin perfected each setting. The drinks were adorned with conversational paper straws by Cherish Paperie. Everywhere we turned, more vintage touches were placed about the party. This gorgeous desk was adorned with a customized name banner created by Cherish Paperie in frames purchased at Ikea. These frames could be found throughout the party with different tidbits and facts about the beautiful bride. This gorgeous yellow ombre ruffle cake was the perfect dessert to enjoy as we watched the bride open her gifts. The cake was pared with fresh french macaroons that were both light and delicious. We cannot wait to see the photos from Zoom Theory!

Oh-La-La! Bridal Shower {Ideas and Inspiration}

This Oh-la-la bridal shower, designed and coordinated by Intertwined Events, was the definition of classy. From the beautiful creams and tans of the stationery to the gorgeous flower arrangements and table decor. We had so much fun coordinating the stationery to match this bridal shower's theme and absolutely loved seeing it all pulled together. The simple touches on each place setting made the whole table. From the mason jars for water to the dainty tea cups for cupcakes, this bridal shower is one to be remembered. APictureLife Photography captured each moment of this event perfectly and were able to put on film what everyone at the event experienced. From specialty drinks to specialty cupcakes, no detail was left out. This Oh-La-La bridal shower created a perfect theme to celebrate this bride and her upcoming nuptials. An invitation can say a lot about a couple’s personality. It also sets the tone for the wedding festivities. So when choosing a design for your invitations make sure that your personality shows through! Don’t be afraid to make crazy requests and find a design you love. These rock and roll invitations scream fun! But they are also gorgeous. The teal and grey work beautifully together and the artwork behind the font is not distracting. It compliments the look of the invitation. By playing with fonts and colors you can create an invitation that sticks out in your guests minds. They will remember the details and be excited to find out what else you have in store for them! Your stationery designer loves creating and is inspired by many images they see. If you have a Pinterest, Loverly or Bridal Style board, start pinning what inspires you. And send that information along to your designer so that they can take your ideas and create something that you love. When we have a client that shares their ideas with us, no matter how outlandish they might sound, it’s much easier to create stationery that the client loves.
