I’ve noticed quite a buzz as the royal wedding date comes closer and closer. A month ago all I read on the news and on Twitter was the hype about the royal invitations. People critiquing the design, the wording, the style. Others chatting about the dress code and who was invited. Or more importantly, who wasn’t invited.

I didn’t understand it. Being from the US and in my late twenties I wasn’t familiar with the hugeness that is a royal wedding. But don’t worry. I’ve been caught up. It really is a big deal and I’m excited to see what is to come.

Unlike other royal weddings, this one has the power of the internet behind it. There’s a wedding website dedicated to providing all of the most up to date information for those curious about all things wedding. There’s even an iPad app. What I’d love to take from it is ideas on how to create your own royal wedding.
