I enjoy seeing a contrast in colors when I see what brides choose as their color scheme. And I love when soft pinks and bright pinks are mixed with teals and blues. The brightness of these colors together just makes everything pop. And most see gender roles assigned in these colors. The teals are more masculine and the pinks are more feminine. So when both sides are represented it creates a kind of equality for the whole design.
Not that having all feminine colors or all masculine colors is bad, it’s just that using these to balance one another out really makes for a beautiful backdrop. And the fact that there are so many shades to choose from and combine only helps create originality for a wedding or event.
